Lost Mode lets you lock your iPhone Watch so that others cannot access your personal information. You can turn on Lost Mode in Find Devices on iCloud.com.

Lost Mode requires a device that meets the minimum system requirements listed in the Apple Support article System requirements for iCloud.

What happens if you lock a lost device or activate Lost Mode?

Your Apple ID email is used to send a confirmation email. The gadget can receive a message from you stating that it is missing and providing contact information. For an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, and Apple Watch, when you receive messages or notifications or if any alarms go off, your device doesn’t display alerts or play a sound. Both phone calls and FaceTime calls can still be made to your smartphone. For applicable devices, payment cards and other services are suspended.

Set a device’s lost mode or lock it
Select the device you want to place into Lost Mode or lock by clicking All Devices in the Find Devices section of iCloud.com.

You have already chosen a device if you don’t see All Devices. To view the Devices list and choose a different device, click the name of the current device in the Find Devices toolbar’s center.

If your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Apple Watch has a passcode, you’ll need to enter it in order to unlock the device. In every other case, you must now generate a passcode. Even if your Mac already has a password configured, you must establish a numeric passcode in order to lock it. This passcode, which is different from your password, is only used when your Mac is locked using Find Devices.
